A lovely example of a Malayer rug.

Dating back to the last half of the nineteenth century this stunning rug has intricate detail, beautiful borders and a superb range of colours with all vegetable dyes.

It is wool on wool, in good condition with even wear and medium pile.

Suitable for normal domestic use, this scarce example is ready for use.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non slip underlayer, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
