A wonderful example of its type, this Turcoman dates back to the last quarter of the 19th century.

Hand woven with wonderful natural wool on a wool foundation giving it a soft feel and lush sheen. It retains tremendous bold colourings, from vegetable dyes.

In fantastic condition this late 1800’s Turcoman is the ideal finishing carpet, suitable for normal domestic use.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
