A pretty late 19th century Ersari Mafrash

Made with soft wool on wool, giving a delicate sheen to rich deep colours, all vegetable dyes. In wonderful condition this pretty little Mafrash is suitable for normal domestic use or hanging decoration.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
