A stunning 1900’s Caucasian Derbent rug.

Woven with lovely natural wool on a wool foundation making it feel soft and thick, featuring typical Derbent colours. Derived naturally from vegetable dyes this rug has a stunning blue, that is representative of Derbent’s Caspian Sea, gives it a rich depth.

A wonderful Caucasian piece in very good condition suitable for normal domestic use.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
