A stunning and rare Isphahan rug.

A very good example of a real Isphahan rug, dating back to the 1930’s this pretty piece is all natural wool on a solk foundation.

This is very well drawn with stunning intricate detailing featuring birds. The colours are soft yet rich, created with all vegetable dyes, framed with a wonderful ivory border.

This rug is in perfect condition, such masterpiece being very hard to find. Suitable for light/normal domestic use.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
