A remarkable 1900’s Kurdish runner rug.

Made from natural wool on a wool foundation this pretty piece features an Arabic date stamp of 1330 - early 1910’s.

It has the most beautiful well drawn designs featuring figurines of animals and bold medallions. Rich colours from vegetable dyes, this Kurdish rug is in very good condition and is suitable for normal domestic use.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
