This is a stunning little ‘so called’ Red Oushak rug dating back to the 1930’s.

A stunning Turkish piece made from soft natural wool on a wool foundation, this well drawn rug is boldly brought to life with all vegetable dyes. In fantastic condition this rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

There are two small matching pieces to this, 2279 & 2280.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
