This stunning example of a Turcoman is half silk and is of very fine weave. It has a silk foundation and highlights, which is unusual to find a Turcoman woven with silk.

It has a soft red madder field with six rows of thirteen Tekke guls. The ivories and blues are in silk, with a pretty sunburst border.

This gorgeous rug is very fine with a soft floppy handle, in excellent condition with slight even wear and full pile. Suitable for normal domestic use.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non slip underlayer, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
