An absolutely beautiful example Afghan Ersari rug dating back to 1900.

This rug is wool on wool and has lovely thick pile. It is in such fantastic condition for its age, boasting bold colours derived from vegetable dyes, deemed with velvety soft wool giving it a vivid sheen.

With full pile and an ideal size, this stunning rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
