A very beautiful example of its type, this Turkish Yahyali dates back to the 1920’s.

Made with soft natural wool on a wool foundation, this is a true village rug, well made with striking colour. The colouring is derived from all vegetable dyes and the blue in this carpet is a really wonderful shade, giving this rug a soft feel visually in addition to shiny wool. In very good condition, suitable for normal domestic use.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
