This is a very interesting nineteenth century Kazak Caucasian.

Made with soft natural wool on a wool foundation, this wonderfully presented Kazak makes an ideal furnishing carpet. The field contains a bold stand out design, bordered by intricate flowers, with rich colour and some wonderful pastel splashes, all created with vegetable dye.

This is a wholesome furnishing rug, of larger size with medium pile suitable for multipurpose use.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
