Wonderful Turkish Bergama rug, in excellent condition, circa1900.

With classic Bergama detail on soft natural wool, it is a striking rug with fantastic colour using all vegetable dyes.

Retaining its original long kilim at both ends, and slight wear, suitable for lighter domestic use.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
