A pretty little Turkish Marash Chuval dating back to the 1920’s-30’s

This lovely wool on wool piece was once an old bag, likely used for wheat, which has been opened and turned into a bold runner.

It features mixed technique weave of cicim and kilim, graced with rich colours from vegetable dyes this antique runner is suitable for normal or heavy domestic use.

With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
